High above the swarm of tourists and New Yorkers in Times Square, Arthur Schuman introduced hundreds of thousands of New Year’s Eve partygoers to its recently debuted Cello Whisps Parmesan cheese crisps.

The company’s Cello Whisps advertisement played on the big screen as visitors rang in the New Year and celebrated the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to watch the ball drop in person.

The reception to both the product and the ad has been fantastic. As we previously reported, this new “guilt-free” snack utilizes Cello’s gold-medal award-winning copper kettle Parmesan cheese, aged 14 months. It can be eaten as-is or tossed on a salad or appetizer.

“People like the ad, but more importantly they love the product!” Kareen Stephens, Brand Manager at Arthur Schuman, tells me. “Many are amazed that Whisps are full of flavor yet have none of the preservatives and fillers that are so prevalent in many other foods.
