One of the largest exclusively regional food shows in the U.S. has revealed what attendees can expect at the Wednesday, July 26 and Thursday, July 27 event.
The Fresno Foods Expo attracts all corners of the industry, from exhibitors and restaurants to buyers and consumers, every channel can expect to come together to create new business opportunities, according to a release announcing details of its events kicking off at 10 a.m. on July 26 when set up for the convention begins. “Now in its seventh year, the Expo has helped elevate public perception of the award-winning Central California food region and put a spotlight on these local companies who have been recognized by their peers and the industry on state, national, and international levels,” the nonprofit organization said in a statement.
At the time of the announcement, 142 of Central California’s premier food and beverage companies were noted as having the opportunity to connect with upwards of 650 top level local, regional, national, and international retail and foodservice buyers expected to attend.
Among the festivities celebrating food will be 12 local restaurants preparing delicious bites onsite, incorporating products found on the Expo show floor, with around 1,000 members of the public estimated to join in.
The Expo will also debut a mobile app component, enabling exhibitors, sponsors, buyers, and the public to search and download a new tool to conveniently view details about the Fresno Food Expo, including:
The Expo is excited that this event will grow the numbers it has brought to the industry over the last six years of its success, such as introducing 305 different food and beverage companies to new customers and hosted 2,680 different qualified buyers, including over 100 strategically recruited international buyers.
