In further commitment to uplifting deli, dairy, bakery, and cheese businesses in the industry, the International Dairy-Deli-Bakery Association (IDDBA) has released three original research reports, with its sights set on enhancing retail marketing through social media.
“Social media has become a necessity for all businesses and organizations, including food retailers, as more shoppers turn to these channels for information and engagement,” said Alan Hiebert, Senior Education Coordinator, IDDBA. “Having a thorough and accurate knowledge of your shopper base and their preferred social media channels, as well as developing the appropriate messaging for sharing information and communicating with them, is paramount for a successful social media campaign.”
According to a recent press release, the reports were commissioned by the IDDBA and prepared by Joshua Swanson, Chairman and Co-Founder of Razz, and Interactive CEO of GoToMyApartment.com. The reports provide retailers with marketing insights and specific tips on how to efficiently engage with shoppers and strengthen their social media campaigns.

Details the steps necessary for launching successful social media campaigns including selecting social networks, optimizing store profiles, and developing content strategy.
How to Create Great Content
Provides retailers with insights on message and communication development through social media, based on shopper demographics and social media channels used.
Reputation Management Matters
Explores the importance of possessing a clean and positive online reputation, and the steps it takes to achieve and maintain such stature.
