Life is all about learning and growing, and so, too, are our careers in the industry. The International Dairy Deli Bakery Association (IDDBA) is bringing in an industry veteran to tackle its Education Director role. With 15 years of experience as Senior Manager of Retail Event and Merchandising at Portland, Oregon-based New Seasons Market, Angela Bozo is stepping up to the plate and will now be responsible for projects in professional development, research, and training.
“We’re excited for this new addition to our team,” said Vice President of Education Jeremy Johnson. “Angela Bozo’s experience at New Seasons Market will be instrumental in insuring that our products and programs meet the needs of retailers.”
The education team that Bozo is joining focuses on What’s in Store trends report, professional development, Show and Sell at the IDDBA show, and training programs. Bozo brings natural grocery and servant leadership experience to the IDDBA table, with a background ranging from promotions and merchandising to management. To this end, she planned sales events, designing and driving programs and coordinating events at New Seasons Market while leading promotions teams at all store locations, according to a press release. She also served as the key liaison for all vendors for promotions, demo support, and general inquiries.
Congratulations to the whole IDDBA team and to Angela Bozo. We look forward to seeing the organization flourish with the addition of her expertise.
