The Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board (WMMB) is now adding Shelley McDaniel as the organization’s West Coast Regional Marketing Manager, adding a team member with extensive food experience. Based in Tacoma, Washington, McDaniel will now be responsible for managing retail and foodservice promotional activity across the West Coast.
McDaniel’s background includes several food-oriented positions, including founding her own multi-line food business catering service, Cooking Accomplished!. In addition to roles at Classic Foods the In Good Taste Cooking School, her most recent role was with Emmi Roth USA as Pacific Northwest Foodservice Sales Manager.
"Shelley comes to WMMB with a wealth of industry knowledge and experience in foodservice and retail sales that will help grow and expand our efforts in the western part of the country,” explained Allen Hendricks, Vice President of Foodservice & Education for WMMB. “We are very excited to welcome her to the team.”
According to a press release, McDaniel holds a bachelor’s degree in personnel management from the University of Washington and a culinary arts degree from the Western Culinary Institute.
WMMB has made several new additions to it’s marketing platform in the past few months, most recently adding Rachel Kerr as Public Relations Manager. The company also added new Director of National Product Communications, Abby Despins, following successful IDDBA and Summer Fancy Food Show conferences in June.
