Specialty Food Association Announces 2018 Hall of Fame Inductees

The Specialty Food Association (SFA) announced who it will be inducting into the SFA Hall of Fame, and the list is notably impressive. In a press release, SFA stated that this year’s honorees come from SFA’s diverse membership and each individual represents the innovation and business know-how of the ever-growing $140 billion-dollar specialty food industry.

Phil Kafarakis, President, Specialty Food Assosciation“The mission of Specialty Food Association Hall of Fame is to honor individuals who have achieved innovative success while making a positive impact within the industry,” said Phil Kafarakis, President. “This year’s honorees are specialty food pioneers who have been integral to industry growth and exemplify the Vision of our Association, ‘To Shape the Future of Food.’”

Buyers, importers, and makers showcase the variety and reach of specialty foods, and the 2018 Inductees are no exception.

As part of SFA’s special event, “SFA Recognition: Celebrating Our Legacy,” these individuals will be honored at the Summer Fancy Food Show in New York the evening of July 1, 2018. Held at the Javits Center, the event will also include the Association’s Lifetime Achievement Awards.
