The Winter Fancy Food Show is shaping up to be biggest and brighter than ever this year, with 1,400 companies set to exhibit more specialty foods and beverages than ever before. The show, taking place January 22-24 at the Moscone Center, has opened registration.
"Specialty food sales are exploding right now," stated Phil Kafarakis, President of the Specialty Food Association, which owns and produces the Winter Fancy Food Show. People are very interested in high quality, great tasting food, and specialty foods offer both."
Thousands of new products from 30 countries will be exhibited in the 218,000 square foot space. According to a press release, companies from California will boast the biggest presence—with over 330 local companies represented.
The show will be the largest marketplace exclusively devoted to specialty foods and beverages on the West Coast; attendees include buyers from top names in retail and restaurants looking to spot trends, find new foods, and make connections.
