Beemster Cheese's Marissa Demaio and Marcel Vantuyn Discuss Latest Campaign

Consumers’ love for cheese certainly isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. With so many varieties out there, it’s up to the company to pique the interest of retailers and consumers alike.

I recently had the opportunity to speak with Marissa Demaio, Director of Marketing at Atalanta, and Marcel Vantuyn, Managing Director of Beemster Cheese, about Beemster’s latest campaign, Go Dutch, and how it will have consumers dying to try Beemster cheese.

Marissa DeMaio, Director of Retail Marketing, Atalanta“Beemster cheese all starts in Holland, in the Beemster Polder—where the soil cannot be more lush, the grass cannot be more green, and the cows could not be happier,” Marissa told me, citing what makes Beemster cheese stand apart from the crowd.

“And to celebrate that, what we’ve done today is we’ve created a brand new campaign called Go Dutch,” she continued. “And what we want to do is help retailers go to market with unique items that are going to help them sell this cheese at retail and make all of their customers proud to Go Dutch.”

Go Dutch items are designed to excite consumers to try Beemster cheeseLaunching nationwide, the campaign will include items like recipe books, counter cards, and signs, all designed to get consumers intrigued about Beemster products.
