The results are in, and Agri-Mark’s cheese brand Cabot Creamery’s Mild Cheddar has earned the Best Cheddar title at the National Milk Producers Federation’s (NMPF) Annual Cheese & Yogurt Contest held last week. The dairy company also claimed the Best Yogurt title for its 10% Plain Greek Yogurt.
“Cheddar is at the heart of who we are—it’s the cornerstone of our brand identity and our cooperative’s success,” said Corey Desranleau, Vice President of Manufacturing. “The team is honored to have earned the Best Cheddar title among our fellow farmer cooperatives this year. It celebrates our cheesemaking heritage, a craft that our farmers and employees have honed for more than a century.”
The NMPF is composed of dairy producers throughout the country and the cooperatives they own, explained a press release. The annual contest recognizes the best cheese and yogurt products produced by NMPF’s member cooperatives.
“We are incredibly proud of our team, from our farmers to the employees in the creameries for their dedication to quality and craftsmanship,” said Cricket Jacquier, Chairman of the Board and farmer member from Canaan, Connecticut. “To have earned the best yogurt title for three consecutive years is impressive, and it really speaks to the consistency, pride, and effort that our farmers and employees put into our products every single day.”
This year’s NMPF Annual Cheese & Yogurt Contest had 250 entries from 13 cooperatives.
