Here at Deli Market News, we have some ranch fanatics on the team who were—as I’m sure many other shoppers will be—very excited to hear of Burlap & Barrel’s new Nothing Hidden Ranch seasoning. Created in collaboration with chefs Sohla and Ham El-Waylly, the seasoning adds a tangy punch to anything it’s sprinkled on.

Ethan Frisch, Co-Founder, Burlap & Barrel"When Sohla and Ham told me how much they loved ranch, I knew we had to try making a version together! We blended Wisconsin buttermilk powder with spices sourced from small farms as far away as Egypt and Vietnam to create a transparent and traceable (nothing hidden) ranch seasoning unlike anything else on the market. Tangy, savory, and just a little bit sweet, it tastes delicious and has a great sense of humor too!" said Ethan Frisch, Co-Founder of Burlap & Barrel.

This new collaboration comes after the chefs launched their previous blend, Pizza Party!, with Burlap & Barrel in 2021. According to a release, their newest seasoning has nothing to hide, showing off a kick of onion and garlic, tangy buttermilk, vibrant dill, and savory chives.

With this versatile, flavorful spice, the opportunities for consumer use are endless.

“Try it sprinkled on popcorn, roasted vegetables, and grilled fish. Stir it into a combo of mayo and yogurt to make the perfect creamy dressing. Or up the cool and shower it over freshly fried tortilla chips!” recommended Sohla and Ham.

Jars retail for $11.99 and are available online and at select specialty food retailers.

Make all of your ranch-loving shoppers’ hearts content by adding Nothing Hidden Ranch seasoning to your spice aisles.
