The Chefs’ Warehouse Acquires Capital Seaboard; Christopher Pappas and Larry Quinn Comment

Finishing 2021 on strong footing, and thereby stepping into 2022 with a leg up, The Chefs’ Warehouse, a distributor of specialty food products, has announced a recent acquisition. The company revealed that it has attained substantially all of the assets of CGC Holdings, doing business as Capital Seaboard.

Capital Seaboard is based in Jessup, Maryland, and has provided seafood and produce to the Mid-Atlantic since its inception, as noted in a press release. The company will be joining Chefs’ Warehouse, which distributes specialty food products to chefs who own and/or operate independent restaurants, fine dining establishments, hotels, bakeries, specialty food stores, and more. Chefs’ Warehouse currently carries and distributes over 55,000 products to upward of 34,000 customer locations throughout the United States and Canada.
