Washington state will potentially be welcoming a new Costco to its retail landscape. Recent reports indicate Costco has shown interest in Pasco, Washington, as the next location for the retailer’s newest store.
A letter of intent from Costco asserts that this new store could be opening up next year, according to The Key. The addition will be part of a 145-acre rezoning project led by the City of Pasco.
Although ground has not yet been broken for this project, the news source teased rumors that the process will begin in early 2022. Costco reportedly does not comment on future store plannings, but we expect that further news on this location will surface before long.
The retailer had made known plans for four new stores in Minnesota, Illinois, Oklahoma, and Idaho. With Costco eyeing the West Coast, one can only wonder what other markets the retailer has on its map for further growth.
Deli Market News will continue to report, so keep checking back for more.
