The supplier has revamped its line of Daiya Blocks with an oat and chickpea-based recipe, which are now available in the United States throughout chains such as Sprouts Farmers Market, Wegmans, Wakefern, and Natural Grocers, as well as other specialty retailers.

"Our new Daiya Blocks are available just in time for the holidays, giving new and current fans dairy-free options that deliver exceptional taste and texture, and which can be easily incorporated into favorite recipes to satisfy comfort food cravings."
The products are reportedly free from dairy, gluten, and soy and now offer a creamier, more balanced taste with a semi-firm bite and smooth finish. Available in Medium Cheddar, Jalapeño Havarti, Monterey Jack, Smoked Gouda, and a new Classic Mozzarella, these plant-based blocks are designed to shred, slice, grate or cube, a press release explained.
Daiya is one leader at the helm of plant-based evolution, tapping into categories such as pizza, frozen desserts, mac and cheese, burritos, salad dressings, and more.
