From the chills to the thrills, Spooky Season, or as lay people call it, October, is easily one of my favorite months. I mean, scary movies galore, intricate costumes, and endless frights—what’s not to like? Not to mention it is prime time for retailers to create fun displays loaded with seasonal goodies that will turn any shopper into the ghostess with the mostest at their Halloween functions.
Now, read on to see what products gave me pumpkin to talk about…
This first offering had me under its spell as soon as I saw it—CHEVOO’s newly launched Herbes de Provence Flavor. The cheese will be a people-pleaser at every event this holiday season with a bewitching blend of aromatic fresh culinary herbs, extra virgin olive oil, and creamy goat cheese. It joins four other flavors in the brand’s newly relaunched line, meaning no matter how many parties your shoppers attend, they will have the power to mix things up.
Litehouse Pumpkin Spice Caramel Dip
My motto for the fall season? Pumpkin spice, and everything’s nice. Honestly, I think that would be a pretty good slogan for Litehouse’s seasonal Pumpkin Spice Caramel Dip, which gives consumers an easy way to add a festive flair to their snacks. With caramel dip sales already climbing throughout October and November, this unique twist on a classic gives retailers even more reason to add it to their shelves. It will appeal to caramel and pumpkin spice lovers alike.
Speaking of snacks, let me introduce you to Olli Salumeria’s new Olli® Salamini and Curds. Seeing as cheese and salami go together like bats and Dracula, this convenient launch was right up my alley. Whether heading to work, school, or hanging out in your coffin waiting for night to fall, hunger strikes, and you need an on-the-go treat to fill you up. Look no further than this delightful combination of Classic Salamini salami sticks and Cheddar cheese curds that will have shoppers asking, “Witch way to the meat case?”
POM Wonderful Cranberry Relish
In the spirit of Halloween entertaining, POM Wonderful’s new Cranberry Relish, created in collaboration with Williams Sonoma, will provide just the right flair for my charcuterie board this year. The perfect blood red color for added spook factor, its sweet yet tart flavor will complement everything from cheese and crackers to toast and roasted meats, meaning it can easily transition into other holiday meals. Bone Appetit!
La Brea Bakery Take & Bake Holiday Savory Rolls
Although Spooky Season has me in a chokehold, Thanksgiving is not under-appreciated in my household. That said, La Brea Bakery’s limited-time Take & Bake Holiday Savory Rolls have me daydreaming about turkey, mashed potatoes, and sweet potato casserole. Featuring a delectable mix of sage, celery, thyme, and black and white pepper, these bad boys taste just like classic stuffing—do I hear leftover sandwiches calling my name? Yes!
Until November’s picks, creep it real, folks!
