One thing I love most about trade shows is the knowledge I take home with me. An opportunity to absorb and share new information comes in the form of the annual American Cheese Society (ACS) Conference taking place later this month. Emmi Roth is one supplier that will be making its rounds, and I had the chance to chat with Jodie Wische, Senior Vice President of Specialty Sales, to get the inside scoop.
“We look forward to the ACS Conference every year. It’s an inspirational atmosphere like no other,” she told me. “There’s no better place to talk about our cheeses, and why and how we make them, than amongst fellow cheese enthusiasts. It’s the perfect place to share ideas with existing industry partners and new members alike. Plus, the networking and educational opportunities are great.”
As Jodie told me, the ACS Conference gives Emmi Roth the opportunity to learn and work together with industry professionals who support the cheese business. It’s a very social, interactive event where attendees can expand their knowledge.
“This year’s conference is going to be a great opportunity to reconnect with fellow industry associates that we haven’t seen in three years,” Jodie continued. “We want to continue our support of artisanal cheesemaking in the United States and maintain our reputation as an award-winning, Wisconsin-based cheesemaker.”
Giving me a sneak peek, Jodie shared that Emmi Roth will be highlighting its award-winning Roth Cellar cheeses, and will be sharing information about the upcoming launch of its new Havarti flavors.
“I hope people continue to see Emmi Roth as an industry leader and innovator. We craft some of the highest quality, award-winning cheeses, made with care by our local cheesemakers,” Jodie concluded.
