Conrad Skelton, CEO, Blue Moose of Boulder“From a retailer standpoint, we have amazing, standout packaging with unique flavors, and we are owning the cheese dip category with our new items,” he shared with me, recalling the artisanal cheese dips that launched earlier this year. “This gives a lot of positives for buyers who want to partner with us, and importantly, delivers incremental growth in their departments.”

These artisanal cheese dips—which come in Green Chile Cheddar, Red Pepper Cheddar, Spinach Artichoke Parmesan, Roasted Onion Cheddar, Parmesan Asiago, Buffalo Cheddar, Pimento Cheddar dip, and White Balsamic Fig—are made utilizing cold pressure, also known as High Pressure Processing (HPP). This gives the products a 100+ day shelf life after production.

“We feel that our brand brings cleaner options for the consumer. We focus on the nutritional values to ensure that our products treat the body well,” Conrad explained. “We foresee the Keto diet as being one that’s here to stay, and Blue Moose is planning on dominating the cheese dip sector in the upcoming years.”

The 16-count packaging, apart from featuring that rad moose, can be put directly on the shelf and sold in single units, maximizing ease for retailers. For someone with extensive retail knowledge, Conrad understands the importance of being a good partner for buyers.

Above all else, though, Conrad also has a vision of where he’d like Blue Moose to go in the next five years—and his vision does not disappoint.

“I see Blue Moose being the undisputed leader in healthier snacking with our organic hummus and our clean label cheeses. Without a doubt, we will be a household name. We want our products to be in everything from kid’s lunchboxes to convenience stores,” he concluded.
