While there are many brands with a hand in the plant-based game these days, there is a select group of companies who helped to build the movement. Forager Project® is one such company, as its brand has been an icon in the sector. Expanding its portfolio, Forager recently launched a new CHEESEWORKSTM line of organic, plant-based cheeses, which are uniquely crafted to perform and taste like dairy cheese using the company's probiotic cashew milk yogurt.
"Here at Forager Project, we're dedicated to amazing our consumers with great tasting plant-based foods in every creamery category," said Co-Founder and CEO Stephen Williamson. "With the launch of cheese, we're excited to give our consumers even more delicious, plant-based options while staying true to our mission to make plant-based foods more accessible for everyone."
This line of organic, dairy-free cheeses is unique in the category for many reasons, including its ability to melt and stretch and its dairy-like taste and texture. According to a press release, Forager’s focus is on creating the highest quality cheeses with the fewest ingredients possible and no modified food starches. The brand can also tout that this new line is completely organic and plant-based.
Forager Project's new CHEESEWORKS lineup of organic, dairy-free cheeses (available in chunks and shreds) include:
These cheeses will be available at retailers nationwide this spring, including Fresh Thyme, Sprouts Farmers Market, Central Markets, Stop & Shop, and more.
