Summer will be here before we know it, folks! Now is the time to start planning your seasonal displays decked out with all of summer’s most beloved food items. Imagine backyard barbecues with hot dogs and Mom’s potato salad. Or, give Mom some extra time in the kitchen and pick up one of Hans Kissle’s newest products: Red Bliss Potato Salad with Barbecue Sauce and Chipotle Ranch Pasta Salad.

Melanie Tierney, Marketing Manager, Hans Kissle“Our Red Bliss Potato Salad with Barbecue Sauce is a seasonal spin on a classic side featuring tender Red Bliss potatoes tossed in tangy BBQ sauce with mayonnaise, smokey crumbled bacon, poblano peppers, fire-roasted corn, and roasted onions,” Melanie Tierney, Marketing Manager, told me. “The Chipotle Ranch Pasta Salad, on the other hand, features Radiatore pasta tossed in creamy buttermilk ranch dressing with fire-roasted tomato and chipotle salsa, black beans, and bell peppers.”

Hans Kissle takes pride in crafting innovative and delicious dishes that leave a lasting impression. The team of experienced culinary experts is constantly in the kitchen, perfecting recipes and crafting new creations. Its commitment to quality and passion for delivering the simple goodness of home in every bite is what truly sets the company apart. “Our R&D team is always researching unique ingredients and recipe concepts to find tasty dishes that are unlike anything we have in our existing portfolio. Social media is a great tool that we use to check out trending recipes. We are always staying up to date on food blogs, Pinterest, and trending restaurant menus,” Melanie explained. “Our team usually starts with upwards of 10 concepts we feel would be great additions to our product lineup. From there, we conduct tastings to narrow it down to two to three flavor profiles.”

As Melanie relayed, these two new salads would be best promoted next to other summer favorites such as hamburgers, hot dogs, or sandwiches. In addition to placement, offering a store program to encourage consumers to purchase these two items together would be an excellent way to promote and an approach that has been extremely popular among customers.

Intrigued? Hans Kissle will be at IDDBA in Anaheim from June 4–6 at booth #2823 sampling these salads along with many others.

This specialty food innovator is certainly one to watch, so don’t go anywhere.
