Honey Mama’s Unveils New Product

PORTLAND, OR
Wednesday, February 3rd, 2021

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, and shoppers are on the lookout for gifts that make an impression. Category-defying confections maker Honey Mama’s is stepping in to make this holiday one to remember as it launches a limited-edition flavor, Cherry Hazelnut.

Christy Goldsby, Founder, Honey Mama’s“Cherry Hazelnut is Honey Mama’s first-ever limited-edition offering and is without a doubt, one of our all-time best recipes! Originally created in 2019 exclusively for the acclaimed food festival Feast Portland, it became an immediate crowd pleaser and a Honey Mama’s in-house favorite as a celebration of two Pacific Northwest ingredients,” Christy Goldsby, Founder, shares with Deli Market News. “This bar is loaded with the nostalgic, luscious flavors and textures you traditionally find in an elegant box of chocolates, and it is a glorious win-win and love-filled gift to give or receive!”

The Cherry Hazelnut bars include toasted, Oregon-grown hazelnuts; glorious chunks of organic Bing cherries grown in California’s San Joaquin Valley; and are topped with flaky Norwegian sea salt. With the release of Cherry Hazelnut, according to the statement, this will be Honey Mama’s first foray using real fruit!

“We’ve continued to make Cherry Hazelnut in small batches for special company celebrations, but the addition of whole fruit and chunkier nuts required a unique process to manufacture on a larger scale. We’re thrilled to have found a way to do it, and it is just as delicious as our first handmade batches for Feast,” Christy explains.

Available for purchase from now until February 14 or until it is sold out, this limited-edition refrigerated truffle bar will be available for purchase online.

As the holiday event approaches, stick around as movers and shakers in the specialty, dairy, and deli sectors roll out new products and innovations.
