Internationally renowned French-style bakery and coffee shop Paris Baguette, has announced plans to open a new location in Johnson County, Missouri. This development marks the beginning of the company’s expansion into the Kansas City area.
“Paris Baguette’s expansion into Johnson County represents a significant step in our growth strategy,” said Mike Issa, Franchisee. “We’re excited to bring our unique blend of French pastries and coffee to a new audience.”
According to Yahoo! News, the coffee shop and bakery filed an application to establish a new site at 15895 Metcalf Ave. in Overland Park, according to city documents. This location will introduce local residents to Paris Baguette’s diverse and fresh menu, which features breakfast sandwiches, French-style pastries, and a selection of cakes that have garnered international acclaim.
With a menu featuring items like lemon citrus layer cake, cappuccino cake, berry tarts, Hawaiian jalapeño quiche, and harvest chicken salad sandwiches, Paris Baguette continues to offer a taste of French-inspired culinary delights. Read the full menu here.
“The atmosphere, the decoration, and the aroma of our cakes and pastries create a unique experience that we’re eager to share with more customers,” Issa told The Star earlier this year.
While Issa is not involved with the Metcalf Avenue site, the company is still finalizing details for its opening. Although the exact timeline for this location remains uncertain, the expansion will provide local businesses and consumers with closer access to Paris Baguette’s premium fresh products, enhancing the region’s culinary landscape.
