PepsiCo Announces Definitive Agreement to Acquire BFY Brands

PepsiCo’s snack portfolio just got a major boost. This week, the food giant announced it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire BFY Brands, the maker of PopCorners and other leading snack brands like Flex Protein Crisps and Flourish Veggie Crisps.

As part of the acquisition, BFY Brands will be slotted into PepsiCo’s Frito-Lay North American division, where the company expects the brand to expand its snacking portfolio. In addition, PepsiCo anticipates its latest acquisition to further deliver on its Winning with Purpose vision to offer consumers more positive, nutritious options, according to a press release.
