It’s all about the seasoning, and PS Seasoning is kicking up the seasoning heat with two new flavors to its snack stick lineup: Korean BBQ and Honey Sriracha. Both flavors were inspired by those traditionally found in Korean cuisine
“The flavors of regional cuisine of Asia are trends leading the meat industry this year,” stated Stephanie Neu, Manager of Research and Development. “Our innovation team has a continuous process of researching flavors and trend data to find profiles that complement proteins used in sausage and snack stick making. Every product is tested by our innovation team before and after processing to ensure consistent flavor in multiple applications.”
A press release noted the Korean BBQ seasoning has a great balance of sweet, spicy, and savory from the blend of brown sugar, soy sauce, gochugaru chili, sesame, and sweet onion. The Honey Sriracha seasoning packs a flavor punch with its blend of real honey and hot sauce.
“We’re still seeing the sriracha trend going strong this year. When balanced with honey, you get a really flavorful snack stick that is approachable and recognizable to our customers,” concluded Neu.
