It’s that time of year again, fellow cheese lovers and cheesemakers. The Wisconsin Cheese Makers Association (WCMA) will begin accepting registration for its popular WCMA Golf and Trap Shoot Outing on Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at 9 am. Registration is available exclusively online here.
“Our golf outing and trap shoot offers terrific networking opportunities for dairy processors and industry suppliers, along with a lot of fun,” said John Umhoefer, WCMA Executive Director. “We encourage you to mark your calendars to register on May 21, as we know space will sell out quickly.”
According to a press release, on Wednesday, July 17, golfers will enjoy four courses in Central Wisconsin: two at Lake Arrowhead Resort in Nekoosa, one at Castle Course at Northern Bay in Arkdale, and one at Bull’s Eye Country Club in Wisconsin Rapids. Registrants may request their preferred course, though WCMA cannot guarantee placement. Names of individual golfers are not required at registration; only a requested number of golfers and payment is needed.
Also on July 17, WCMA’s trapshooting event will be held at the Wisconsin Trapshooting Association's Homeground Facility, located just a short drive from Lake Arrowhead Resort. Registration is open to 50 shooters.
Golfers and trap shooters will enjoy a lunch courtesy of BMO Harris Bank and are invited to come together at Lake Arrowhead Resort following their day of activities for a social hour, catered dinner, and a cash bar.
