Consumers’ love of cheese never goes out of style—I would know. As would Savencia Fromage & Dairy. The cheesemaker continues to bring its premium products to consumers internationally, a strategy that seems to be working in the company’s favor. In Savencia’s recent first quarter 2023 report, it outlined a sales gain of $236 million (€214 million), an increase of 14.7 percent compared to the previous year.
Savencia’s sales as of March 31, 2023, stood at $1,844.5 million (€1,669 million). According to a press release, this was driven primarily by the cheesemaker’s strong organic growth of 17.6 percent.
As of tomorrow, April 5, Savencia will begin focusing on integration and synergy development following the takeover of Argentina company Sucesores de Alfredo Williner. In addition to this development, Savencia has taken a step forward with its validation by Science Based Targets initiative of its decarbonization trajectory.
