Smoky, easy, and delicious, beef jerky has become a staple for the wanderlust wanderer and the road trip roamer. With the category continuing to expand as demand remains high, Seltzer’s Smokehouse Meats is one supplier to keep on the shelf. The supplier recently launched its new 100 percent Beef Jerky line, coming in Original, Chipotle, and Double Smoked Sweet.
“The line is based on our authentic hardwood smoked Lebanon Bologna, and we’re excited for our customers and consumers to try them out,” Austin Wagoner, Chief Executive Officer. “They are also available in bites of the same flavors. We believe in this jerky and know that once people taste it, they will absolutely fall in love with it.”
Seltzer’s uniqueness comes from the same care and attention that has always gone into all its products. Along with using hardwood in its traditional wooden smokehouses, the company’s smoke masters employ a unique three-day smoking process, stoking and precisely controlling the process for optimal flavor and quality. And that process has remained superior since 1902.
“While remaining true to our Pennsylvanian roots and the uniqueness of Lebanon Bologna. We are also excited to be able to bring even more of our great products to a broader audience,” Austin tells me. “And there are more good things to come. We are also super excited about our meat stick offering, Original, Spicy, and Sweet, to now be available in a two-piece pack.”
Currently, the protein provider is running a $1 off coupon campaign to participating retailers along with comprehensive demos and marketing support both in and out of store. For now, the Beef Jerky offerings are being launched on a limited basis in the company’s backyard, which includes Pennsylvania, Maryland, and New Jersey, with plans to quickly expand into more regions of the United States. The company’s Lebanon Bologna, however, can be found in all 48 continental U.S. states.
