Silver Fern Farms Expands Retail Range to Southern California and Launches New Premium Rib-Eye and New York Strip Steaks

Silver Fern Farms has been delivering value to the U.S. market since 2019, bringing buyers exceptional quality meats from New Zealand. In its next wave of expansion, the company is rolling out its grass-fed retail range across 15 new stores in Southern California, including Jons Fresh Marketplace, Major Market, and Stumps Family Market.

The products soon to delight California consumers include:

  • Venison: Medallions, Premium Ground

Silver Fern’s full retail range includes beef, lamb, and venison. According to a press release, these programs are intended to offer both buyers and shoppers world-leading meat, given that Silver Fern Farms commits to producing meat that is 100 percent grass-fed, pasture-raised, with no antibiotics, hormones, or feedlots. The entire product portfolio is also certified paleo, keto, and Halal.

The company noted that the Rib-Eye Steak and the New York Strip Steak are two new additions hand-selected by Silver Fern Farms' Master Graders as part of its Eating Quality system. The EQ system is a science-backed grading process that rates beef on seven scientific criteria proven to contribute to the eating quality of red meat. This allows Silver Fern to consistently deliver a better beef eating experience.
