With sustainability listed high on many companies’ values these days, it’s a huge honor to receive an award that reflects a dedication to not only consumers, but to Earth as well. One company in this category is St. Benoit Creamery, as it has been awarded Yogurt Product of the Year by Mindful Awards.
"Our organic-on-the-go dairy products feature the delicious flavor of fresh local milk from pasture-raised Jersey cows that graze in Sonoma County year-round," said St. Benoit Creamery Director of Marketing Manon Servouse. "We are inspired by the beauty of our surroundings and the excellence of the neighboring fresh food, wine, and dairy producers who surround us. We are honored to accept the Yogurt Product of the Year award from the 2020 Mindful Awards Program and look forward to sharing our sustainable dairy delicacies with even more local consumers this year."
Mindful Awards is an independent platform that recognizes consciously made companies and packaged products, according to the press release. This year’s program had over 1,000 nominations of natural, sustainable, and healthy products, which were judged by a panel of consumer-packaged good experts. Winners were chosen based on taste, variety, environmental impact, health, brand principles, and transparency.
St. Benoit Creamery’s milk, yogurt, and dessert products are made from milk from one single herd of pasture-raised Jersey cows. The products are packaged in reusable jars and offer a healthier alternative to yogurt products with artificial flavors, stabilizers, and sweeteners.
"St. Benoit Creamery offers consumers real food and clean labels, a superior-tasting alternative and a sustainable product for savvy consumers," said Bryan Vaughn, Managing Director, Mindful Awards. "From humanely sourcing local milk to their LEED Gold certified building, it is easy to see St. Benoit's dedication to a better future for food and our planet. We congratulate St. Benoit Creamery for winning our Yogurt Product of the Year award!"
The award-winning products come in multiple flavors, including plain, french vanilla, Meyer lemon, strawberry, and honey.
