European bakery brand St Pierre Bakery revealed it is adding new Butter Croissants and Chocolate Croissants to its product line!
“We're excited to share that St Pierre is expanding its portfolio with new full-sized Butter Croissants and Chocolate Croissants,” the company said in a press release. “The croissants are individually-wrapped and branded in packs of eight with a suggested retail price of $4.99.”
The new croissants join other popular grab-and-go products for busy business people or for a lazy morning while enjoying a cup of coffee. The french-inspired croissants and other European pastries have been attracting the public slowly over the last several years in the U.S.
According to St Pierre, the inspiration for the new croissant came from the cronut debut, including the Croiffle and the Cinnamon Croissant Loaf, a few years ago. All the products are authentically made in France using “high-quality ingredients and classic techniques.”
“The new croissants reflect the brand’s commitment to producing authentic European-inspired bakery items,” said the company.
St Pierre was established in 1987 by its French parent company, Carrs Foods. It was first launched in the U.K. and made its way to the U.S. in 2014 as the demand for overseas expansion grew. The company has been successful with bringing fresh French pastries to the fast-paced daily lives of Americans.
As stated in the press release, St Pierre, one of the fastest-growing European bakery brands in the U.S., offers a variety of items such as brioche, croissants, Belgian sugar waffles, and lace-thin filled crepes.
