Sysco is continuing to boost the foodservice industry as it recently launched two new exclusive toolkits for foodservice operators. The distributor is expanding its Foodie Solutions platform with the new Labor & Hiring and Summer Solutions toolkits. These new additions join a series of carefully curated tools to help Sysco's partners generate additional revenue and meet consumer expectations.
“As the foodservice industry recovery continues to advance, Sysco Foodie Solutions toolkits feature creative ideas to support the recovery of the restaurant industry by providing solutions to generate revenue and address the unique challenges facing operators as they reopen,” said Judy Sansone, Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer.
The Labor & Hiring toolkit provides a comprehensive resource for hiring, training, and retaining restaurant employees, including tips such as taking action on employee feedback and offering incentives to improve retention. As foodservice operations begin to reopen, the comprehensive toolkit provides valuable information alongside a Q&A feature with two Sysco Chefs who offer suggestions and advice for restaurants as well as those looking to work in the industry.
To help operators drive increased revenue and guest satisfaction, Sysco is also providing a Summer toolkit. The summer season is a key time to take advantage of as consumers are more active as they partake in vacations, weddings, festivals or events, and outdoor activities. And with vaccine administration increasing and restrictions continue to ease, this summer will see consumers taking advantage of the season. The Summer Solutions toolkit offers creative ideas to prepare for the summer rush and welcome guests back safely.
To further support restaurant operators, Sysco is providing no delivery minimums for regularly scheduled delivery days, as well as free services to help market their business moving forward, including contactless menus, signs, banners, and social media support.
