unearthed Launches New Product

Monday, January 20th, 2020

Winter Fancy Food Show is perhaps one of the biggest shows in the specialty food industry. With over 80,000 products at this trade news writer’s fingertips, it’s easy to get overwhelmed. Luckily for me, I had an inside source at unearthed®, a leading European brand, who detailed just how its new products are going to take the U.S. market by storm. I spoke with Marco Águas, Co-Founder, to find out more.

Marco Águas, Co-Founder, Unearthed USA“We are delighted to be launching our egg and potato omelet, which comes in flavors of Original, Spinach, and Roasted Red Pepper. These are perfect for breakfast, an on-the-go snack, or as part of your lunch or dinner,” Marco explained to me. “Made as if they had been cooked at home with real ingredients and no additives, these have been a staple item in the Mediterranean diet. To the free-range egg and Monalisa potatoes, we add some onion, a little olive oil, and a pinch of salt. For the two variants, we add some spinach leaves or roasted sweet red pepper, cook in a pan, and seal them in a convenient pack format.”

Not only are these omelets delicious, they’re a great source of protein and are gluten- and dairy-free. As is the case for all of unearthed’s products, they’re also non-GMO and all-natural.

unearthed’s latest product is its Egg & Potato Omelet, which comes in flavors of Original, Spinach, and Roasted Red Pepper

In addition to these new offerings, the company will also be highlighting its popular, free-range Jamon Ibérico and ready-to-eat charcuterie, as well as its new nitrate/nitrite-free Serrano ham. Available in a range of formats, including a small and large kit comprising of the ham, a stand, and a knife. How could consumers not find this an incredible addition for parties?

“Combine the above with our established range of pre-packed olives and cheese, add a glass of wine or two, and there you have it... like being on holiday in Europe!” Marco remarked. (Do I have to leave the unearthed booth?)

On top of these offerings, the brand is also showcasing its Pastel de Nata—the trendy Portuguese tart taking over the world—and its original French macaroons with espresso.

“Unearthed continues to discover a world of flavor, free of unnecessary additives and made with care for the environment, the welfare of animals, and the community,” Marco explained. “As part of the ComplEat Food Group, our unearthed range will continue to grow to provide our customers with a tasty Mediterranean diet.”

For those wanting to indulge in the Mediterranean experience, be sure to stop by booth #2635.
