From developing Utz Brands’ e-commerce and digital marketing capabilities to accelerating its market share opportunities in the salty snack category, Jennifer Bentz will be playing an integral role with the company as she becomes its new Executive Vice President, Insights, Innovation, and Marketing Services. In this role, she will report to Howard Friedman, Chief Executive Officer, and will oversee all insights and analytics, innovation, and marketing services functions.
Bentz joins Utz Brands with more than three decades of experience in marketing roles, most recently as Executive Vice President, Applied Technology and Insights at CLIF Bar & Co. As explained in a release, she led a cross-functional team and successfully infused consumer understanding into marketing activation to deliver consumer growth goals.
Before her role at CLIF Bar & Co, Bentz served as Chief Client Officer at Mintel, leading Consulting and Global Key Account teams across various industries. These included food and beverage, financial services, insurance, and technology.
Prior to Mintel, she held senior marketing leadership positions at Tyson Foods and Kraft Foods.

Bentz holds a B.S. in Marketing from Indiana University, where she also minored in Sociology.
