Looking back on my life in food, so much color entered my world when I discovered charcuterie—literally, figuratively, and flavorfully. When Veroni Salumi announced it was bringing this deli treat to new heights with the launch of a party tray, I was eager to learn more.

I sat down with Emanuela Bigi, Veroni’s Marketing Manager, to dig into all this new offering brings to the table.

Consumers are increasingly looking for high-quality takeaway foods as well as innovative charcuterie trays with high performance and no compromise on quality,” Emanuela shares. “Indeed, for our trays, we use the modified atmosphere packaging (MAP) which preserves the quality of fresh produce over a long period of time.”

When I ask what stands out most about the new trays, Emanuela doesn’t hesitate.

“First of all, they include high-quality products,” she says, piggy-backing off the work the team has done to ensure that freshness carries through the supply chain to the table. “In addition to providing 100 percent Italian charcuterie, behind the concept of the party tray lies an accurate study about the best pairings to offer not only in terms of ingredients, but of nutritional properties as well.”

The result is an innovative mix in which Veroni brings together the classic charcuterie with the typical Italian aperitivo, balanced with products loved by the American market, such as dried fruits. And this cutting edge reaches past the new party trays into much more that we should be on the lookout for.

“We are in constant search not only of more recyclable and sustainable materials but also of new products that meet the consumer’s needs, such as our brand-new Pizza kit included in the AperiTime line, Antipasto Italiano, and many others,” Emanuela continues. “We aim to offer an Italian experience without them having to even leave their home.”
