In its mission to share knowledge and tools to develop the dairy sector, the Wisconsin Cheese Makers Association (WCMA) recently tapped Lindsey Hess to step into the role of Programs and Office Coordinator. In her new position, she will help spearhead educational training, informational webinars, networking events, and more, bolstering WCMA’s already extensive set of membership services.
“I’m proud and thankful for the opportunity to join WCMA. I look forward to bringing my skills to the table to serve an industry that works hard to make delicious, nutritious products for people all over the world,” commented Hess of her recently announced appointment.
Hess comes to WCMA from Wisconsin Primary Health Care Association where she held several different roles, a press release explained. She offers valuable expertise in event planning and execution, program support, and office and information management.
In addition to supporting the organization’s events and member services, Hess will also manage office operations; assist with leadership training, webinars, and scholarships; and help with the Championship Cheese Contests and CheeseExpo.
John Umhoefer, Executive Director, commented on Hess’ recent appointment.
“The dairy processing industry is always evolving, and so is WCMA,” Umhoefer said, noting how this expansion of WCMA’s team builds on the association’s long-term goals. “As our members’ needs and goals emerge, we’re bringing on the best of the best to help with creative ideas and increased support.”
Congratulations to Lindsey Hess on her new position!
