As consumers and retailers alike prepare for the seasonal flavor profiles that fall and winter bring, DRY Soda Co. has announced the launch of two new flavors cultivated specifically for the holiday season; Ginger DRY Sparkling, and Cranberry DRY Sparkling.
“Ginger and cranberry are two of the most beloved flavors of the holidays; memories of making gingerbread houses and topping the turkey with cranberry sauce are what shaped the season for me,” said Sharelle Klaus, Founder and CEO of DRY Soda Co. “We also realize there has been very little innovation in non-alcoholic holiday beverages, which have historically been dominated by options that are loaded with sugar.”
The company stated in a recent press release that the new flavors will be available for a limited time only, and are matched by new limited edition 750 mL packaging. The flavors will sold with a suggested retail price of $4.99, with the following aspects:
These seasonal flavors will be sold throughout this holiday season at UNFI, KeHE, Kroger, and Safeway stores in select regions.
“We created Cranberry DRY Sparkling and Ginger DRY Sparkling and framed them in exciting new packaging to celebrate the flavors of the holidays and give consumers a festive, yet refreshingly clean and crisp beverage to enjoy alongside their meals or mixed into cocktails,” finished Klaus. “These will not only look great on a table top or bar cart, but make for the perfect host or hostess gift as well. We are extremely proud of this celebratory package and of the carefully balanced tastes of these two flavors.”
DRY Soda stated that Ginger DRY Sparkling’s use in holiday baked goods and beverages makes it a North American staple. Now in Sparkling form, this new flavor will pair well with pot roast, Brussels sprout, sweet potatoes, bacon, and sweet treats. Looking for a mixer? Try a splash in your whiskey or vodka with less sugar than some ginger beer or ginger ale alternatives.
The Cranberry DRY Sparkling is a tart, merry, and bright holiday taste with 70 percent less sugar per 12 oz serving than other cranberry drinks, according to DRY. Try this memorable flavor with full-flavored meats and roasts, mashed potatoes, latkes, baked brie, and cheesecake. Drinks can get the cranberry spice in vodkas and champagne cocktails.
The company will debut the new flavors at Natural Products Expo East this weekend, September 22-24. Stop by and have a taste at booth #8906!
