You don’t think digital and deli go together? Think again. Evine CEO Mark Bozek, who has enlisted big names such as Lisa Vanderpump, Paula Deen, and Todd English for successful product launches in the past, is now trying out another new venture: meat products.
Usually known for luxury items like watches and other kinds of jewelry, this is a surprising shake up in categories for the CEO. And the StarTribune reports that, like his previous successes, Bozek has another celebrity name to align with this latest launch- Reality TV star and Chef Andrew Zimmern.
With friend Pat LaFrieda, who New York Magazine has called the “Magician of Meat” and who the StartTribune reports is a purveyor of meat to some of the best and well-known restaurants across the U.S., Zimmern has created a line of eight proprietary and unique meat items for EVINE Live.
These limited-edition, hand crafted cuts, combined with EVINE Live’s resources, will have the potential to reach over 87 million households through the company’s cable affiliates and satellite networks.
