New Jersey's Burlington Township is welcoming a Bimbo Bakeries distribution center. The 17,700-square-foot distribution center will be built at a former trucking terminal, previously occupied by Land Air Express, in an industrial park.
"We're taking a dilapidated trucking terminal and turning into a state-of-the-art facility that should become operational later this month," said Brian Tait, Project Developer for B. Tait Builders of Pennsauken. Tait also said subcontractors are currently modifying the loading docks to accommodate smaller trucks and making interior changes in the warehouse and offices.

This project is expected to be completed in November and will primarily distribute products made in the Horsham, Pennslylvania factory, according to the report.
