Hogwarts is synonymous with the holidays. From Harry Potter movie marathons to Christmas-themed ornaments, the appeal of the wizarding school reaches far and wide. Tapping into this holiday spirit, The Duchess Bake Shop recreated Hogwarts out of gingerbread, and may I just say, it is stunning.
Known for making edible and incredible creations, The Duchess Bake Shop truly outdid itself this time. As someone who has seen the model of Hogwarts at the Harry Potter Studio Tour in Leavesden, England, this gingerbread replica basically outshined the other. An almost-to-scale replica, it was described by the bakers as their most “ambitious” creation yet. MTL Blog reported that the entire castle is made out of candy and other holiday treats.
This isn’t the first time the bakery has tackled real-life structures of this caliber: it’s also made a cathedral with life-like stained glass windows!
