Model and wife of singer John Legend, Chrissy Teigen, proved the power of social media and celebrity when she reached out to a pool of 7.5M fans on Twitter to crowdsource browned bananas.
Teigen, who made her debut in Sports Illustrated, has steadily gained notoriety as a sassy Twitter sensation during her years in the public eye. Now she harnessed those powers to make a special banana bread, offering not just a personal house call from her assistant, but her husband's celebrity skivvies to up the stakes of the deal.
Understandably, there was an onslaught of responses that prompted Teigen to deliver specific instructions to validate credibility. Ever the Twitter power, though, she narrated the transaction with her wry sense of humor.
Upon culmination of the swap, she even delighted fans by detailing her culinary exploits through videos before sharing the highly-demanded recipe on her Instagram for others to indulge their bread baking skills.
