Mary Krier has over 25 years of experience with Flowers, and has consistently risen within the ranks over the years. Prior to her joining the company, Mary worked as a writer for trade and consumer press in the Chicago area after obtaining a BA in English Literature/Writing from Rosary College of Dominican University in River Forest, IL, according to a recent press release.

Marta Jones Turner, Executive Vice President of Corporate Relations, Flowers Foods

"Mary has a wealth of experience and expertise in all areas of corporate communications," said Marta Jones Turner, Flowers Foods' Executive Vice President of Corporate Relations. "I am confident she will provide insightful leadership and invaluable support as she takes on new responsibilities."

Chad Johnson, Vice President of Distributor Communications, Flowers Foods

Similarly, Chad Johnson has a long and storied history with the company, starting out as a Sales Associate at Flowers' Villa Rica, GA, bakery in 1995. He then zig-zagged a bit to hold various positions ranging from roles in information systems to human resources, before ultimately landing at the corporate office inside the communications department. After his move, he was again promoted several times before entering his current role. His responsibilities now include overseeing independent distributor communications, in addition to providing communications support for distributor relations and sales staff.

Flowers Foods

"Chad's career at Flowers includes a variety of work experiences," said Jones Turner. "His communication skills, graphic design and technical abilities have allowed him to develop powerful and highly effective messaging skills and I know he will continue to contribute great things in his new role."
