In a move further aligned with increased focus on investors and financial strategy, Flowers Foods has promoted JT Rieck to Vice President of Investor Relations and Financial Analysis.
In this role, Rieck will be responsible for investor message, strategic research, and financial modeling in the company. According to a press release, Rieck joined Flowers in 2014 as Managing Director of Investor Relations and Financial Analysis.
"JT's combined work experience, education, and enthusiasm for learning make him a valuable addition to our team,” stated Steve Kinsey, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. “I'm confident he will enhance our investor relations practice, and also contribute in strategic analysis and research."
Prior to working for Flowers, Rieck was a tax attorney in private practice, and Director of Research and a Senior Analyst at investment advisory firm Crosscap Management.
The company noted that Rieck has a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Houston Law Center, and is a member of the State Bar of Texas. Rieck also possesses a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance from the University of Richmond.
Marta Jones Turner, who previously held the position of Investor Relations Officer, will continue as Executive Vice President of Corporate Relations. In this position, Turner will provide guidance to investor relations.
