A growing European bakery is now looking to make its stateside debut, cracking into the U.S. market via on-site baking in Road Runner stores in Arkansas and Oklahoma.

“We are truly excited to partner with Road Runner as we know locals will love our baked goods the moment they try them,” said Nick Peters, CEO of Fornetti USA.

Currently, the international bakery operates upwards of 8,000 locations in Europe, according to a press release. This month, Road Runner stores will facilitate further growth with stores in:

  • Conway
  • Fort Smith
  • Heber Springs
  • Hot Springs
  • Little Rock

“Road Runner’s track record in leading the market with innovative concepts make them a natural partner for us as we introduce even more consumers to the great tastes of Fornetti in-store bakeries,” Peters continued.

The in-store bakeries, selling freshly-baked artisan breads, pastries, and donuts, are expected to be available statewide by the spring of 2017.
