Kayco, a kosher food distributor, announced that come March, more than 20 new and traditional Kosher-for-Passover products will be available in Whole Foods Market stores across the nation. The partnership between the two companies began over a decade ago, as consumers started to demand products that fit both kosher and healthy lifestyles.
“Our palates have gravitated toward creative cuisines and sophisticated food trends,” Kayco’s Executive Vice President Harold Weiss stated. “People today are genuinely interested in food—not just for the way it tastes, but how it’s produced and what that means to their overall health. They expect convenience, and they no longer want to choose between delicious and healthy just because it’s Passover.”
According to a press release, shoppers will find a full array of organic, fair trade, vegan, natural options from Kayco that are also gluten-free, non-GMO, and free of preservatives and artificial ingredients.
“Like Whole Foods Market, Kayco is constantly seeking out innovative products and conscientious producers. Thanks to them, our customers will find new and traditional Passover items from one of the most trusted brands on our shelves every year,” said Christina Pearson, Global Grocery Category Manager at Whole Foods Market.
Over the span of their collaboration, Kayco and Whole Foods Market have offered more than 100 different products for Passover. Today they have refined a selection of products that spans many categories, including grape juice, baked goods, candies, and matzo products.
“At the same time, Whole Foods Market offers unique products from Kayco brands that can be used by everyone, from Harrison’s Fair Trade chocolate chips for snacking and baking to the only Biodynamic Grape Juice produced in the United States by Kedem. From Glick’s macaroons to Yehuda gluten-free matzo, the shopping experience for Passover is unbeatable,” Weiss added.

In addition, Gefen Gluten-Free Pastas (shells, wide noodles, elbows, and lasagna) will be available at select Whole Foods Markets from coast to coast.
