Maplehurst Bakeries is gearing up for the grand opening of its new state-of-the-art donut bakery in Lebanon, Tennessee, which is expected to open in March 2016.
The company has begun hiring associates for this new facility, looking to fill positions in manufacturing, warehouse, industrial maintenance, and team management, according to a press release.
“We are excited to join the Lebanon, TN and Wilson County communities,” said Kevin McDonough, President. “The ‘right mix’ of geographic advantages and workforce pool were among reasons Maplehurst selected Lebanon.”
At least 70 employees will be hired at this facility when it opens, though there are plans to expand that number to 150 in the long-term.
Maplehurst Bakeries operates other facilities in Tennessee, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, New Hampshire, and Washington State. The company is a subsidiary of George Weston Limited.
