Panzanella President and Owner Paul Pigott Talks New Snack Line

Looking back, it seems this was a summer of delicious innovations in the snacking category, bringing consumers new ways to taste big flavors in small, convenient portions. One company is truly taking the big flavor note to heart is La Panzanella, who recently introduced its Croccantini® Bites line. I spoke with the company’s President and Owner Paul Pigott about what sets these bite-sized crackers apart from the crowd.

"Our product is very simple, with a very limited ingredients statement,” Paul tells me from the Summer Fancy Food expo hall. “It’s all-natural, our processes are the same since the cracker was developed 15 or 16 years ago, and I don’t ever see that changing.”

Offered in an on-the-go style package, La Panzanella introduced the product in three flavors:

  • Sundried Tomato Basil
  • Spicy Olive
  • Italian Herb
