Sonoma Creamery Receives $10 Million Investment From Svoboda Capital Partners

Sonoma Creamery is about to have a lot more cheese producing power as it continues through the second half of 2017. The company has announded it will recieve a $10 million equity investment from Svoboda Capital Fund IV, L.P. While specific terms of the transaction were not disclosed, its safe to say the boost in capital will bring in some exciting new moves from the company who brought you Mr. Cheese O's.

Sonoma Creamery Parmesan Crisps

According to a press release, this investment will be geared towards supporting the company's growth initiatives, including the development of new products, the hiring of key personnel, and the build-out of additional production capacity. Since 2014, Sonoma Creamery has been providing Mr. Cheese O's, a shelf-stable, high-protein, gluten-free, naturally lactose-free, baked cheese snack made with organic quinoa and no artificial ingredients or preservatives. The company then launched Sonoma Creamery Parmesan Crisps, Cheddar Crisps, and Bacon Cheddar Crisps with real bacon in 2016.
