Third-generation specialty food provider Venus Wafers has been producing outstanding crackers since 1931, and the company’s latest offering the Mariner Stoned Wheat cracker is no exception.
“Venus Wafers is a family owned company…located in Hingam, Mass.,” explains Jim Anderko, the company’s Sales Manager. “We bake all-natural, non-GMO, organic crackers and flatbreads.”
The company’s offerings span three brands—The Original Mariner Biscuit Company (or Mariner), cäPeachio’s, and Nejaime’s Lavasch—each with its own spin on crackers.
CäPeachio’s artisanal offerings are made in a distinctive old-world style to be both the perfect pairing for wine and cheese. Nejaime’s Lavasch Crisp Flatbreads are made from authentic, traditional Armenian recipes, perfect for hummus, soups, salads, cheese, or cold cuts. And the company’s Mariner crackers are available in original and bite-sized varieties, delicious straight out of the box and with toppings.
Venus recently featured its Mariner Stoned Wheat cracker at the Winter Fancy Foods Show in San Francisco. A classic cracker with a rich flavor, this stoned wheat variety is a perfect snack, stacked with cheeses, spread with toppings like tapenade, or by themselves.
Anderko notes that the Mariner Stoned Wheat is a wholesome snack, too: “non-GMO, Kosher, and vegan-certified.”
