When taking in all the sights of the various exhibits at IDDBA, it was hard not to stop by the display of what looked like spaghetti noodles made of cheese.
It turned out this is just a peek at some of the new offerings Burnett Dairy is rolling out, and National Account Manager Hillary Hildebrandt took the time to tell us all about it.
“The fun new snacking really rounds out the dairy case so now we can offer the snack products, our chunk, and string,” Hillary tells me, explaining the options that have opened up to the dairy category as it continues to expand. Now, Burnett is able to offer snack products, chunk and string cheeses, and the company is embracing this with several new flavors.

Hillary also explained that Burnett Dairy does its best to ensure that it uses the best quality milk by controlling the process “from farm to fork.” The vertically integrated, farmer-owned co op has a nutritionist to maximize the cows’ diets, a large animal vet, and an animal welfare specialist to accomplish that quality.
