Cargill Announces Transition of Chief Financial Officer Position; Brian Sikes Comments


MINNEAPOLIS, MN

Jamie Miller recently announced she will be stepping down as Cargill’s Chief Financial Officer. As Miller pursues another opportunity, Joanne Knight will serve as Cargill’s acting CFO.

Joanne Knight, Acting Chief Financial Officer, CargillKnight currently serves as Vice President of Finance for Cargill’s Agriculture Supply Chain enterprise, which includes Ocean Transportation and the World Trading Group. Before Cargill, Knight spent 10 years in finance, marketing, and business leadership roles at General Mills that included P&L responsibility, as well as roles in supply chain finance, sales finance, and financial planning and analysis.

According to the release, Knight also held finance leadership roles at Wachovia. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Management from the University of Virginia and her Master of Business Administration degree from Harvard University.

As Knight takes on a pivotal role in the company’s continued growth, Miller’s last day with Cargill is January 13, 2023. She will be accepting an opportunity outside the company.
