School supplies are being bought and the last of family vacations are being had—it’s time for kids to return to class if they haven’t already, which means Labor Day weekend is on the imminent horizon. And what’s a Labor Day party without some dairy treats?
“Although we’re a small team, we feel confident going into the holiday season that shortages and supply issues will be minimal. We appreciate all our retail partners, and we look forward to seeing our products on shelves this holiday season,” Elle Fearing, National Sales and Marketing Representative for Carr Valley Cheese, recently shared with me.
For Labor Day and the kick-off of football season, she told me how the company’s delicious Bread Cheese® in particular is the perfect addition.
“We continue to see unique applications on social media with this product,” Elle pointed out. “Think skewers, bacon-wrapped Bread Cheese, or even cheesy potatoes topped with Bread Cheese. The possibilities are endless with the seven flavors we offer. The added bonus is that this product is gluten-free, all-natural, keto-friendly, vegetarian, and made with locally sourced milk.”
Carr Valley, and the industry at large, continue to see consumers wanting ease when it comes to shopping and meal prep. As a result, providing kits, recipe ideas, or grouping items in-store to create a recipe is a merchandising boon.
“We’re all so busy these days! Grab-and-go charcuterie boards or Bread Cheese skewers—so easy and yum!” Elle reflected.
Celebrating 140 years of cheesemaking in the Cook family this year, it’s clear the advice comes from a place of deep-rooted expertise and is something the supplier continues to celebrate into the fall and beyond.
“We are just so honored to have come this far, which wouldn’t be possible without our wonderful customers, farmers, cheesemakers, and warehouse team,” Elle concluded, telling me that, without a doubt, this is truly an amazing industry to be part of.
The perfect energy to welcome the next holiday weekend and the newest season.
