Chipotle Names Ilene Eskenazi as Chief HR Officer and Lois Alexis-Collins as Chief People Officer, Field Operations; Brian Niccol Comments

Later this month, two new Chiefs will be joining the Chipotle executive structure. The foodservice chain announced that it has named Ilene Eskenazi as Chief Human Resources Officer, effective November 27. Additionally, Lois Alexis-Collins was named Chief People Officer, Field Operations.

Eskenazi comes from Petco Health and Wellness Company, where she served as Chief Legal and Human Resources Officer. Prior to that, Eskenazi was the Global General Counsel and Chief Human Resources Officer at Boardriders (previously Quiksilver). She also held the post of Chief Legal Officer and Senior Vice President of Talent Operations and Performance at True Religion Apparel, as well as senior leadership positions at Red Bull North America and The Wonderful Company.

In her new role, Eskenazi will report to Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Brian Niccol.

Alexis-Collins has also joined the company and will report to Eskenazi.

Alexis-Collins will play a critical role in supporting Chipotle's 110,000+ restaurant employees. She previously served as Vice President of Human Resources at ABM. Before that, Collins held the Vice President of Human Resources title at both Steak and Shake as well as Ruby Tuesday. Additionally, Collins served in senior talent and people roles with Darden Restaurants and Waffle House.
